Audrey Daniel Portrait 2013

With twenty-five years of experience, Audrey Ray Daniel produces visual media that inspires audiences to take action. Her interest in producing powerful visual media stems from her devotion to cultural understanding.

Her first video project 1984 she followed a group of Italian artists from the “Arte Povera” movement brought to collaborate with U.S. artists through the Los Angeles Institute of Contemporary Art. Her talent expands to documentary photography, including a major photo exhibition traveling currently: “Sephardi Women of Turkey,” which she has also published as a book.

Never formulaic or cliché, Audrey’s videos dig deep to find her subject’s passion, as reflected in projects such as “Fields of Color.”   “Kurt Stoeckel Artist,”   “Rumi Tsuda: A Colony of One,” and most recently “Fire and Spirit. A Ray Studio produces documentary films under the name 1000 Threads.

In Spring of 2013 Audrey’s additional passion for art, poetry, filmaking, photography and all arts, led her to create a web TV series called

CultureConnect.tv

This allowed her to promote more than just one or two artist a year. She is the host and Executive Producer of the show.
